Zusammenfassung

Die endoskopische Hernienchirurgie hat in den letzten Dekaden eine zunehmende Verbreitung gefunden und zeigt sehr gute klinische Ergebnisse. Nachdem sich vor allem die TEP- und TAPP-Technik etabliert haben, werden diese Verfahren auch mit reduzierter Portanzahl durchgeführt. Dadurch soll das chirurgische Trauma weiter reduziert werden, ohne Kompromisse in Bezug auf die Sicherheit einzugehen. In diesem Kapitel werden die technischen Voraussetzungen und die Operationsschritte beschrieben. Es folgt die Darstellung des Stellenwerts dieser modernen Verfahren anhand der aktuellen Literatur.
