Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden alle neurologischen Funktionsstörungen, deren Behandlung zu den logopädischen Aufgaben gehört, systematisch dargestellt: Sensibilitätsstörungen des Gesichts und/oder Mundes, Funktionsstörungen der mimischen Muskulatur, Funktionsstörungen der Kaumuskulatur und Zungenmuskulatur, Störungen des Schluckens, Sprechens und der Sprache sowie abschließend das apallische Syndrom und das Locked-in-Syndrom. Die Darstellung beginnt bei den funktionellen und anatomischen Grundlagen über die für die jeweiligen Krankheiten charakteristischen Symptome, ihre Ursachen sowie die wichtigsten Fakten zur medizinischen Diagnostik und Therapie. Am Ende jeden Abschnitts werden Hinweise zur die logopädischen Therapie gegeben.
