Zusammenfassung

Das Konzept der Empathie stellt im vorliegenden Band den Grundpfeiler dar, auf dem unsere Überlegungen zur Förderung von psychischen und physischen Entlastungen in Gesundheits- und Sozialberufen basieren. In diesem Kapitel soll daher skizziert werden, was in der Psychologie unter Empathie verstanden wird, welche Konsequenzen oftmals aus dem Empfinden von Empathie resultieren und inwieweit es sinnvoll ist, Empathie für Maßnahmen der Gesundheitsförderung in sozialen und Pflegeberufen einzubeziehen.
