Zusammenfassung

Die operative Versorgung von symptomatischen Hiatushernien hat sich von der einfachen Reparatur zur anatomischen Wiederherstellung der physiologischen Verhältnisse entwickelt. Eine sorgfältige Indikationsstellung zur richtigen Verfahrenswahl ist von großer Bedeutung. In diesem Kapitel werden die operationstechnischen Besonderheiten der SILS („single incision laparoscopic surgery“) und der roboterassistierten Technik zur Versorgung von Hiatushernien detailliert dargestellt. In der Bewertung der aktuellen Literatur zeigt sich, dass die modernen Techniken zu besseren Resultaten in Bezug auf postoperative Schmerzen, schnellere Rekonvaleszenz und bessere Kosmetik führen können.
