Zusammenfassung

Am hinteren Augenabschnitt lassen sich grundsätzlich zwei Operationstypen unterscheiden, Operationen im Augeninneren über einen Pars-plana-Zugang und die extraokuläre Chirurgie unter Verwendung von episkleral aufgenähten Silikon- oder sonstigen Implantatelementen. Neben diesen beiden Operationstypen werden noch tumorchirurgische Verfahren und Operationen bei Kindern und Säuglingen durchgeführt.
