1. Wahrnehmungsdimensionen des haptischen Systems

Zusammenfassung

Die zentralen Aufgaben jedes Sinnessystems bestehen darin, den jeweiligen Organismus sowohl über die Eigenschaften der physikalisch-chemischen Außenwelt (Exterozeption) als auch über Eigenschaften und Zustände des eigenen Organismus (Interozeption) zu informieren. Während alle anderen Sinnessysteme über spezialisierte Rezeptoren verfügen, die in einer bestimmten Region des Körpers konzentriert sind (Auge, Ohr, Nase, Mund), befinden sich die Rezeptoren des haptischen Systems in unterschiedlicher Konzentrationsdichte überall im Körper. Dadurch sind auch die Funktionen des haptischen Systems über den gesamten Körper verteilt. Das haptische System umfasst exterozeptive, interozeptive und propriozeptive Wahrnehmungsdimensionen.
