5. Psychologische Aspekte von Berührung

Zusammenfassung

Im diagnostischen, therapeutischen und pflegerischen Kontext sind Berührungen meist erforderliche Voraussetzung für ein Gelingen der Behandlung. Diese notwendigen Berührungen zur Gesundheitsversorgung stellen im Vergleich zu sonstigen Alltagsberührungen in mehrfacher Hinsicht Ausnahmesituationen im Leben eines Menschen dar. Von erforderlichen Berührungen, die einem medizinischen oder pflegerischen Zweck dienen, können soziale Berührungen unterschieden werden. Diese, oft spontan auftretenden Berührungen, erfüllen soziale oder emotionale Funktionen. Soziale Berührungen können beruhigend, tröstend, angst-, schmerz- oder stressreduzierend wirken. Es besteht somit die Möglichkeit, soziale Berührungen im medizinischen oder pflegerischen Kontext gezielt zu diesen Zwecken einzusetzen.
