Zusammenfassung

Patientenorientierte Beratung heißt nicht, in allen Bereichen Spezialist zu sein, sondern sich mit jedem Themenbereich zu befassen, grundlegende Informationen für die Beratungssituation zu kennen und dann an die Spezialisten im multiprofessionellen Team für die Klärung der Fragen weiterzuvermitteln. Gesprächssituationen nicht nur aus pflegefachlicher Sicht zu sehen, sondern Unterstützungsbedarf zu erkennen, auch wenn ein Thema vom Betroffenen nicht angesprochen wird, ist eine Kernkompetenz von professionell Pflegenden. Sie sollten seelische, psychosoziale, ethische und finanzielle Belastungen wahrnehmen und Fragen zu Bewegung und Sport beantworten können. Gute Informationen werden jeden Betroffenen ermutigen, selbstbestimmter zu leben. Wenn zusätzlich eine geistige Beeinträchtigung vorliegt und ein Stoma notwendig wird, können Schwierigkeiten mit Empathie und Sensibilität bewältigt werden.
