Zusammenfassung

Die Arbeitsbedingungen in der Kinderchirurgie unterscheiden sich deutlich von den Gegebenheiten in der Erwachsenenchirurgie. Ursache sind die alters- und gewichtsabhängigen Unterschiede im Kindesalter; insbesondere bei Neugeborenen ist dies zu beachten. Je jünger das Kind ist, desto größer sind die anatomischen und physiologischen Unterschiede zum Erwachsenen.
