Sections
Excerpt
Treatment of the suicidal patient may be likened to negotiating the perils of a minefield—with each step, one is terrifyingly aware of the potential lethality underfoot. A psychodynamically informed road map may be helpful to both strengthen the clinician’s footing and identify hazards on the path to recovery.
