Bingocize® 3.0: a game based platform for promoting wellness in older adults

Published:09 September 2015Publication History

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we describe the synopsis of Bingocize®3.0, a game based platform for promoting physical and mental wellness in older adults. Based on our study of combining bingo and physical exercises in Bingocize® 1.0 and 2.0, we developed a Bingocize app. Using the app on a tablet, participants can join game sessions led by a trained health coach working on physical exercises, health education and cognitive training. Detailed tracking of the responses from the app can provide intuitive feedback to the participants. The data collection feature can also provide valuable data in wellness research for older adults.
