Retraction Note to: CAN J ANESTH 2004 / 51: 5 / pp 500–513 https://doi.org/10.1007/BF03018316
The Canadian Journal of Anesthesia has retracted this article because a number of studies included in this review1,2,3,4,5 (originally cited as references 40, 62, 63, 64 and 80) have subsequently been retracted. In the opinion of the Editor-in-Chief and after consultation with Springer Nature’s Research Integrity Group, this has rendered the content of the review unreliable. Joachim Boldt has not responded to correspondence from the Editor-in-Chief or the Publisher about this retraction.
