Zusammenfassung

Zur Verbesserung der Qualität der ambulanten palliativmedizinischen Versorgung wurde in einem Modellprojekt in Nordrheinwestfalen („Palliativmedizinischer Konsiliardienst in NRW”) ein vierteiliges Fortbildungscurriculum, flankiert durch ein telefonisches Supportsystem, angeboten. Dieses Modellprojekt wurde durch eine wissenschaftliche Begleitforschung evaluiert, wobei der zentrale Untersuchungsaspekt der Einfluss dieses Angebotes auf den Kenntnisstand teilnehmender Ärzte und deren selbst wahrgenommene Handlungskompetenz war.

Abstract

In order to improve outpatient palliative care a model-project was established in North-Rhine which offered education in palliative care and a telephone-hotline to support physicians. A scientific evaluation was done. The main aspect was the influence of this measure on knowledge of participating physicians and their self-rating of competence.
