Zukunft der klinischen Ethik: Aktuelle und zukünftige Herausforderungen
Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Klinische Ethik ist eingebettet in Veränderungsprozesse der Kliniken als Organisationen des Gesundheitswesens. Diese werden durch gesamtgesellschaftliche Entwicklungen massgeblich beeinflusst. Massgeblich im wörtlichen Sinne, denn die Politik legt sowohl den Ressourcenrahmen als auch den moralischen Status von Gesundheitsorganisationen fest, ob diese als Unternehmen oder staatliche Institutionen tätig sind. Diese Faktoren ermöglichen und begrenzen das Entscheiden und Handeln in den Kliniken. Die klinische Ethik befasst sich daher sowohl mit der „Ethik der Klinik“ als auch mit der „Ethik in der Klinik“. Der folgende Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die aktuellen Herausforderungen klinischer Ethik und stellt das Modell „Ethik-Forum“ von Dialog Ethik und die daraus resultierenden Qualitätskriterien vor.
Abstract. Clinical ethics is embedded in the change processes of the clinics as part of the health care system and the development of the society as a whole. As the normative frame they shape the moral understanding of the clinic as a business or an indispensible institution of a human society. Those factors enable and restrict decision making and acting in clinics. Therefore, clinical ethics covers “ethics of the clinic” and “ethics in the clinic”. The following article gives an overview over the challenges of clinical ethics and presents the model “Ethical-Forum” of Dialogue Ethics with its quality criteria.
