Zusammenfassung
Die Gesundheitspolitik gehört in fast allen industrialisierten Ländern zu den besonders kontrovers diskutieren Politikfeldern. Das liegt unter anderem an der enormen Bedeutung, die das Gesundheitswesen für die Länder sowohl als Kostenfaktor als auch als Organisati ons- und Regulierungsbereich darstellt. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit dem internationalen Vergleich von Gesundheitswesen und -politik und verfolgt dabei das Ziel, dass der potenzielle Leser die politisch gewünschte Angleichung der Systeme kritisch unter Bezugnahme auf ausgewählte theoretische und methodische Grundsätze einordnen und beurteilen kann. Aus diesem Blickwinkel heraus orientiert sich dieser Beitrag nicht an ein zelnen internationalen Gesundheitswesen und deren Gesundheitspolitik sondern bezieht sich auf analytische Rahmenbedingungen sowie die Überprüfung von ausgewählten theore tischen und methodischen Gerüsten.
