Im selben Boot: Unterstützung der Angehörigen von Demenzkranken mit unterschiedlichen Interventionen
Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Die Betreuung von Demenzkranken hat auf die Angehörigen grosse psychische, physische, soziale, finanzielle und spirituelle Auswirkungen. Stützende und beratende Gespräche können für die Gesundheit des Angehörigen, für die Beziehung zum Demenzkranken sowie zur besseren Behandlung (mittels Shared Decision Making/Behandlungsplanung/Care Planning) des Patienten beitragen. In diesem Artikel wird eine Übersicht über Daten aus der Schweiz und von internationalen Studien gegeben.
Abstract. Caring for people with dementia has great psychological, physical, social, financial and spiritual effects on relatives. Support and counseling can contribute to an improved health of the relative, to the relationship with the dementia patient, as well as to better treatment (through shared decision-making/care planning) of the patient. This article reviews data from Switzerland and international studies.
Résumé. Prendre soin de personnes atteintes de démence a de grands effets psychologiques, physiques, sociaux, financiers et spirituels sur leurs proches. Les consultations de soutien et de conseil ont un effet bénéfique sur la relation avec le patient atteint de démence, ainsi que sur un meilleur traitement du patient (par la prise de décision partagée/la planification des soins avancés). Cet article donne un aperçu des données suisses et d’études internationales.
