Zusammenfassung
Die portale Hypertonie, definiert als Anstieg des Blutdruckes im Pfortadersystem auf über 6 mm Hg, ist ein polyätiologisches Geschehen. Die zugrundeliegenden und sehr heterogenen Pathomechanismen sollen hier nicht behandelt werden.
