Zusammenfassung

In den ersten Lebenstagen sind abdominale Symptome häufig durch angeborene Fehlbildungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes verursacht. Die häufigsten und schwerwiegendsten sind Zwerchfelldefekt, Ösophagusatresie, Bauchwanddefekte und Darmatresien. Eine schwerwiegende erworbene Darmkrankheit des Frühgeborenen ist die nekrotisierende Enterokolitis, zu deren Entstehung enterale Ernährung, gestörte Mikroflora und Hypoperfusion beitragen. Die Grundzüge von intraoperativer Überwachung, postoperativer Schmerztherapie sowie Pflege und Hygiene werden dargestellt.
