Zusammenfassung

Nervenläsionen haben vielfältige Ursachen. Im Vordergrund stehen mechanisch bedingte Schäden des Nervs durch unmittelbare Verletzung oder Kompression. Letztere sind Themen dieses Buchs. Die Kenntnis anderer Ursachen einer Mononeuropathie ist aber unerlässlich, nicht zuletzt auch, um überflüssige chirurgische Eingriffe zu vermeiden oder sie umgekehrt wie bei den Faszikeltorsionen einer Neurolyse bzw. Derotation zuzuführen.
