Zusammenfassung

Die typischerweise in der Anästhesie verwendeten Überwachungs- bzw. Monitoringverfahren werden im Einzelnen vorgestellt. Hierzu zählt neben dem obligaten Basismonitoring zum frühzeitigen Erkennen von kardiozirkulatorischen bzw. respiratorischen Störungen das erweiterte hämodynamische Monitoring. Letzteres dient in erster Linie dazu, fluss-, volumen- oder stoffwechselbezogene Determinanten der Hämodynamik zu erfassen, um Beeinträchtigungen der Homöostase möglichst frühzeitig zu erkennen, Störungen der Vitalfunktionen zu vermeiden und um die Kreislaufsituation zielgerichtet (protokollgestützt) zu optimieren. Ergänzt wird das Spektrum der Überwachungsverfahren noch durch diverse Methoden zur quantitativen Erfassung einer neuromuskulären Blockade (neuromuskuläres Monitoring) sowie der funktionellen ZNS-Integrität (Neuromonitoring).
