Zusammenfassung
Rehabilitationsmaßnahmen sind darauf ausgerichtet, die Teilhabe der Betroffenen am Leben in der Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen und zu sichern. Die Rehabilitation dient dem Wiedererwerb und der Übung sozialer Fertigkeiten mit dem Ziel eines Zugewinns an Kompetenz und Autonomie in den Bereichen Wohnen, Alltag, soziale Kontakte, Arbeit und Freizeit. Dem heutigen Versorgungssystem der Rehabilitationsmedizin liegt dabei der umfassende biopsychosoziale Ansatz der von der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) entwickelten Internationalen Klassifikation der Funktionsfähigkeit, Behinderung und Gesundheit (ICF) zu Grunde.
