Zusammenfassung
Dr. Arif war ein erfahrener Internist und Intensivmediziner. Seine Arbeitstage verbrachte er in den verschiedenen Funktionsabteilungen einer großen kardiologischen Klinik. Hinzu kamen 4–5 Bereitschaftsdienste im Monat auf der 26-Betten-Intensivstation. Ein solcher Dienst begann nach der täglichen Arbeit um 15 Uhr. Gemeinsam mit 1–2 Ausbildungsassistenten verbrachte er die Zeit bis zum nächsten Morgen mit intensivmedizinischen Routinearbeiten, die durch die Versorgung von Notfallzugängen und typischerweise 1–2 Reanimationen und 2–3 ST-Hebungsinfarkte aufgelockert wurde. – In diesem Kapitel geht es um Tachykardie, die Gefäßversorgung des Myokards, Komplikationen des ST-Hebungsinfarkts, Übelkeit und Erbrechen, Schädel-Hirn-Trauma und die unkritische Übernahme von Fremddiagnosen.
