Zusammenfassung
Eine Blockchain ist eine kontinuierlich erweiterbare Liste von Datensätzen, genannt „Block“, welche mittels kryptografischer Verfahren miteinander verkettet sind. Es handelt sich um eine Art dezentrale Datenbank. Die Daten werden in einen „Block“ geschrieben bis dessen Fassungsvermögen erreicht ist und dann in den nächsten Block usw. Die Blöcke verweisen jeweils immer auf den vorherigen, so dass eine Kette von Blöcken entsteht, die sog. „Blockchain“.
