Zusammenfassung

Stenosen des laryngotrachealen Übergangs im Erwachsenenalter sind stets erworben. Dabei werden in diesem Kapitel mehrere Ursachenkomplexe unterschieden. Wichtige Maßnahmen zu deren korrekter und reproduzierbar ausgeführten Diagnostik und zur richtigen Auswahl des Rekonstruktionsverfahrens werden dargestellt. Das oft schwierige und differenzierte diagnostische und therapeutische Vorgehen bei Tracheasegmentresektionen, krikotrachealen Resektionen, laryngotrachealen Rekonstruktionen und endoskopischen Dilatationsverfahren werden mit zahlreichen eindrucksvollen Bildern und ausführlichen Beschreibungen schrittweise vermittelt. Das Kapitel repräsentiert den modernsten Stand wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse einer insgesamt schwierigen Thematik im Erwachsenen- und Kindesalter.
