Zusammenfassung
In den ersten Lebenstagen sind abdominale Symptome häufig durch angeborene Fehlbildungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes verursacht. Die häufigsten und schwerwiegendsten sind Zwerchfelldefekte, Ösophagusatresie, Bauchwanddefekte und Darmatresien. Eine erworbene Darmkrankheit des Frühgeborenen ist die nekrotisierende Enterokolitis, die durch enterale Ernährung, gestörte Mikroflora und Hypoperfusion entsteht. Die Grundzüge von intraoperativer Überwachung, postoperativer Schmerztherapie sowie Pflege und Hygiene werden dargestellt.
