Zusammenfassung

Kritische angeborene strukturelle Herzfehler können duktusabhängig sein und sollten vom Neonatologen frühzeitig erkannt werden. Das Kapitel beschreibt diese Herzfehler in Symptomatik, Diagnostik und Therapie und beinhaltet anschauliche Zeichnungen der für die Neugeborenenperiode relevanten Herzfehler. Ferner werden Hyper- und Hypotonus ebenso wie die klinisch relevanten Herzrhythmusstörungen und die Intensivbehandlung der Herzinsuffizienz dargestellt.
