Zusammenfassung
Hüftnahe Frakturen des Oberschenkels sind für ältere Menschen nach wie vor ein sehr einschneidendes Ereignis, daraus resultiert für viele Patienten in der Folge eine Einschränkung im täglichen Leben und den alltäglichen Verrichtungen. Eingeschränkte Mobilität und reduzierter Aktivitätsradius bedingen oftmals die Unterbringung in einer Pflegeeinrichtung. Die allgemeine und die spezifische Komplikationsrate im Rahmen der Versorgung ist nach wie vor sehr hoch, ebenso wie die Krankenhaus- und die 1-Jahres-Sterblichkeit.
