Zusammenfassung
In den 40er- und 50er-Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts Jahrhunderts waren die Naturwissenschaften dabei, die revolutionären Ergebnisse von Einstein, Bohr, Heisenberg, Schrödinger und anderen Naturwissenschaftlern zu verarbeiten. Kaum als solche bemerkt, bereiteten sich neue wissenschaftliche Umbrüche vor, für die Namen wie Shannon, Turing, wiederum Schrödinger, und Delbrück sowie Watson, Crick und Franklin stehen. Eckpfeiler dieser Umbrüche bildeten die Informationsverarbeitung, weitere Fortschritt in der Physik, die beginnende Molekularbiologie und die Genetik. In diesem Kapitel skizziere ich die Situation und formuliere eine Leithypothese zur Herkunft und zum Wesen semantischer Information.
