Zusammenfassung
Bei dieser Variante der kontrollierten Beatmung ist die Inspirationszeit – unphysiologisch – länger als die Exspirationszeit, das Verhältnis von I:E somit > 1. Die IRV wird bei schweren Störungen des pulmonalen Gasaustausches angewandt.
