Zusammenfassung

Chronische Schmerzen sind ein biopsychosoziales Phänomen. Ihre Therapie beginnt mit einer ausführlichen, kindgerechten Edukation für den Patienten, seine Eltern sowie weitere Bezugspersonen. Psychologische Schmerztherapie hat zum Ziel, das passive Schmerzverhalten, die Fokussierung auf den Schmerz, dysfunktionelle Kognitionen sowie negative Emotionen zu verändern. Dabei ist ein familienzentrierter Ansatz für langfristig positive Therapieergebnisse wichtig
