Zusammenfassung
Zur Auswahl der geeigneten operativen Therapieform eines Deszensus ist es notwendig, den Grad und die betroffene Region der Störung zu definieren. So werden neben Deszensus und Prolaps auch die Segmente unterschieden, die durch einen medianen Defekt oder lateralen Abriss gekennzeichnet sind bis hin zur zentralen oder dorsalen Defektbildung, die je nach Ausprägung unterschiedliche operative Ansätze benötigen.
