Zusammenfassung
Seit der Einführung der spannungsfreien mitturethalen Bänder ist in der operativen Inkontinenztherapie ein Paradigmenwechsel eingetreten. Die klassischen Operationsverfahren wie die Kolposuspension nach Burch und die Faszienzügelplastik sind in den Hintergrund getreten, jedoch sollten sie nicht in Vergessenheit geraten. Nach wie vor gibt es bei Kontraindikation zur Bandimplantation, in Kombination mit offenen Operationen oder in der Rezidivchirurgie eine Indikation für diese Verfahren. Neben den retropubisch verlegten Bändern (TVT) mit den besten Langzeitdaten haben sich vor allem die transobturatorisch geführten Bänder (TOT) aufgrund des günstigeren Risikoprofils etabliert. Nach zunächst ernüchternden Ergebnissen der „Mini-Schlingen“ kommen diese mit verbesserten Verankerungssystemen wieder vermehrt in den klinischen Gebrauch. Die Indikationen zur mitturethralen Schlingenoperation mit den unterschiedlichen Operationsvarianten und Ergebnissen sind in diesem Kapitel ausführlich in Text und Bild dargestellt.
