Wegen des Postulats nach einer möglichst immer erfolgreich zu beendenden Portimplantation sollte der Operateur neben seinen gewohnten Zugängen für die zum Port gehörenden Katheter auch Wege kennen, die unter allen Umständen zur Verfügung stehen und zu nutzen sind.
