Zusammenfassung
Die ärztliche Verordnung von Schmerzmitteln hat in den letzten 15 Jahren eine bemerkenswerte Trendwende vollzogen. Nichtopioide Analgetika wurden 30% weniger verordnet, Opioidanalgetika wurden 3-mal soviel wie 1997 verordnet. Das hat dazu geführt, dass jetzt doppelt so viele Opioidanalgetika wie nichtopioide Analgetika verschrieben werden. Dabei muss allerdings berücksichtigt werden, dass sich diese Zahlen nur auf die Verschreibung zu Lasten der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung beziehen. Nicht verschreibungspflichtige, nichtopioide Analgetika wie Acetylsalicylsäure und Paracetamol können nur in Sonderfällen zu Lasten der GKV verschrieben werden. Über die Hälfte der Opioidverordnungen entfällt auf die beiden schwachwirksamen Opioide Tramadol und Tilidin/Naloxon.
