Zusammenfassung

Hemmstoffe des Renin-Angiotensin-Systems (RAS) gehören zu den erfolgreichsten Arzneimitteln zur Behandlung von Hypertonie, Herz- und Nierenkrankheiten. Angiotensinrezeptorantagonisten gewinnen nach Auslaufen des Patentschutzes mehrerer Sartane weitere Marktanteile. Dagegen verliert erneut deutlich der bisher einzige Renininhibitor.
