Zusammenfassung

Seit Einführung der chirurgischen Naht wurde das Fadenmaterial bis heute stetig weiterentwickelt. Die natürlichen Materialien wurden weitgehend durch die synthetischen Fäden ersetzt, die durchwegs bessere Eigenschaften besitzen. In der gastrointestinalen Chirurgie haben sich resorbierbare Fäden durchgesetzt. Dabei ermöglichen monofile, resorbierbare Fäden, die doppelt armiert sind, die sichere und kostengünstigste Form der fortlaufend genähten, extramukösen Darmanastomose auf Stoß. Nur technisch schwierige Anastomosen am Ösophagus oder transanal am Dickdarm, bei denen die Nähte vorgelegt werden, müssen in Einzelknopfnahttechnik genäht werden.
