Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel wird mit dem Organisations-Umwelt-Verhältnis das dritte generische Problem der Organisationsgestaltung behandelt. Ganz grundsätzlich müssen sich Organisationen fortwährend in der Auseinandersetzung mit der sie umgebenden Umwelt bewähren. Nachfolgendes Kapitel thematisiert das vielgestaltige und facettenreiche Verhältnis von Organisation und Umwelt in seinen gestalterischen Konsequenzen. Die Ausführungen reichen von Ansätzen, die eine bedingungslose Anpassung der Organisation an die Umwelt postulieren, bis hin zu moderneren Überlegungen, die von einer wechselseitigen Einflussnahme ausgehen.
