Zusammenfassung
Die Arbeit an medizinischen Anwendungen im Bereich künstliche Intelligenz (KI) ist von großer Bedeutung für die Entwicklung der KI-Branche insgesamt. In kaum einem anderen Feld spielt das Ausbalancieren der Datenschutzanforderungen mit Schaffung der Voraussetzungen für skalierbare praxisrelevante Technologien eine grössere Rolle. China scheint in der Umsetzung medizinischer KI ganz vorne zu sein. Europa im Gegensatz braucht neue Ansätze zur Förderung von KI. Daten-IDs, dezentralisierte Technologien zur Schaffung spezialisierter gesundheitsbezogener Datenmärkte könnten eine gute Lösung sein. KI und weitere Datentechnologien haben ein großes Potenzial, Medizin humaner zu gestalten und Ärzte zu entlasten, ihnen eine Möglichkeit zu geben, sich auf ihre Patienten voll und ganz zu konzentrieren. Dafür ist die enge interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit zwischen Ärzten, medizinischen Forschern und Technologen notwendig.
