Dislozierte Frakturen der Hüftgelenkpfanne führen normalerweise zu invalidisierender posttraumatischer Arthrose, sofern das Gelenk nicht exakt reponiert und durch Osteosynthese fixiert wird. Azetabulumfrakturen konfrontieren den Chirurgen mit einigen der schwierigsten technischen Frakturproblemen, nämlich

    Korrekte präoperative Beurteilung der Frakturform.

    Wahl des geeignetsten chirurgischen Zuganges.

  3. 3.

    Beherrschung der gewählten chirurgischen Exposition.

    Wiederherstellung der Anatomie und Fixation derselben.
