Zusammenfassung

1. Grundsätzlich lassen sich zwei Formen arterieller Aneurysmen unterscheiden: das echte (sackförmige, spindelige oder dissezierende; Abb. 2.1a) Aneurysma als Folge einer Wandschwäche und das falsche Aneurysma (Abb. 2.1b) als Folge eines Wanddefektes (Trauma) mit einem gegen die Umgebung durch eine Kapsel abgegrenzten Hämatom. Treten die Aneurysmen am Stamm auf (z. B. Aorta), so spricht man von zentralen Aneurysmen, an den Gliedmaßen von peripheren Aneurysmen.
