Zusammenfassung

Das Missverhältnis von Sauerstoffangebot und Sauerstoffbedarf führt zur myokardialen Ischämie und deren Folgen. Der koronare Perfusionsdruck, der Blutsauerstoffgehalt und die Diastolendauer bestimmen das Sauerstoffangebot an den Herzmuskel. Die Kontraktilität, die Wandspannung (Vorlast, Nachlast) und die Herzfrequenz stellen die wesentlichen Determinanten des myokardialen Sauerstoffbedarfs dar, welcher in der vom linken Ventrikel geleisteten Arbeit seinen Ausdruck findet.
