Zusammenfassung
Die Refrakturrate wird in der Literatur mit 1–2 % angegeben. Neben einer zu frühen Metallentfernung wird sie von weiteren Faktoren beeinflusst. Zu nennen sind hier die Schwere des initialen Traumas, offene oder geschlossene Fraktur ebenso wie der radiologische Befund (noch einsehbarer Frakturspalt) zum Zeitpunkt der Metallentfernung (Abb. 15.1 a—e).
