Zusammenfassung

Im höheren Lebensalter ist die Auseinandersetzung mit Tod und Sterben ein nicht zu vermeidendes Thema. Ebenso kann die Verarbeitung traumatischer Erlebnisse — seien sie kürzlich erlebt oder länger zurückliegend — wichtig werden. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt 2 Störungsbilder, die mit der Verarbeitung von Trauer und Traumata verbunden sein können:

    posttraumatische Belastungsstörung (PTB) und

  2. 2.

    komplizierte Trauer.
