Die Chirurgie ist die älteste Modalität der Krebsbehandlung und immer noch die Mcthode der Wahl bei soliden Tumoren. Bei monomodalem Vorgehen werden durch eine Operation mehr Patienten geheilt als mit anderen Möglichkeiten der Krebstherapie.
