Zusammenfassung

Antidepressiva sind eine heterogene Gruppe von Pharmaka, die bei depressiven Syndromen unterschiedlicher nosologischer Zuordnung und Charakteristik einen stimmungsaufhellenden und/oder antriebsverbessernden Therapieeffekt haben. Zusätzlich sind sie bei einer Reihe weiterer Störungsbilder wirksam, sodass der Begriff »Antidepressiva« nur einen Teilaspekt ihrer therapeutischen Potenz darstellt.
