Zusammenfassung

Die Lokaltherapie von Verbrennungswunden ist essenzieller Bestandteil in der Behandlung sämtlicher Verbrennungsverletzungen. Die stets gegensätzlich wirkenden Mechanismen der antiseptischen Wirkung und der Förderung der Wundheilung müssen sich hierbei die Waage halten. In der Praxis haben zunehmend die antiseptischen Lösungen den Vorzug vor den Salbenverbänden gewonnen. Neben den topischen Therapien haben auch die Hautersatzmaterialien moderner Prägung eine immer größere Bedeutung erlangt. Hierbei müssen die Indikationen zur Auswahl des Materials je nach Wundtiefe und Status gestellt werden. Neben den rein biologischen Kriterien müssen aber auch die ökonomischen Aspekte berücksichtigt werden, da diese eine immer weiter zunehmende Bedeutung auch in der Verbrennungsmedizin spielen.
