Zusammenfassung

Frakturen des Unterarms unterscheiden sich in der Therapie je nach Lokalisation im Schaft oder am distalen Unterarm. Unterarmschaftfrakturen, Biegungsbrüche und vollständige Frakturen, werden überwiegend operativ nach geschlossener Reposition und intramedullärer Marknagelung (ESIN) behandelt, um ein gutes funktionelles Resultat zu erreichen. Dislozierte distale Unterarmfrakturen werden ebenfalls operativ eingerichtet und meist mit K-Drähten fixiert, während ein Großteil der nur abgeknickten oder eingestauchten Frakturen oder Epiphysiolysen konservativ behandelt werden können.
