Bereits bei chronischer, aber noch nicht dialysebehandelter Niereninsuffizienz (GFR <15–20 ml/min) haben die Patienten durch eine verminderte Aufnahme von Eiweiß und Kalorien ein Risiko für Mangelernährung.
