Abstract

The purpose of this book has been to collect material about various aspects of plagiarism in German academia. On account of the discussion surrounding the extensive plagiarism in dissertations at universities throughout the country and across all fields, the general public and the academic leadership in Germany has just now begun to realize that the problem of plagiarism must be swiftly dealt with.
