In diesem Kapitel wird auf die Beurteilung der globalen und regionalen systolischen linksventrikulären Funktion (LV‑Funktion) sowie kurz auf die diastolische LV‑Funktion eingegangen. Zudem werden Klappenvitien des linken Herzens mit ihren echokardiographischen Merkmalen besprochen.
